Subscription conditions
New orders and cancellations
Existing subscriptions (2024/25 season subscriptions) are extended by one season if they are not cancelled in writing by May 6, 2025. Selective subscriptions do not have to be cancelled.
- Please send your new subscription order to the subscription office at Alte Oper Frankfurt. Alte Oper Frankfurt reserves the right to make use of subscription tickets that have not been paid for in time, if necessary. Please quote your subscription series and customer number in all further correspondence. If your address changes, please let us know.
Regular seat
As a rule, you can keep your selected seat in all concerts of your subscription (regular subscription series).
Transferability of tickets
The tickets of your subscription are transferable. Seat change requests for tickets that have already been paid for and printed can no longer be considered.
Pricing
The ticket prices shown are final prices including VAT, which include service, booking and system fees as well as an RMV fee.

Fixed subscription series about 30%
Selective subscription and subscription-card 20%
Discounts for pupils, students and trainees
Concertgoers up to 25 years of age who are still in education receive a 50% discount on the price group of their choice when booking one of the fixed subscription series.
Subscription exchange voucher
You have the option of changing up to two concerts per subscription series. Upon return of the ticket up to three working days before the respective concert (by 2 p.m.) and payment of a fee of € 10, you will receive a voucher that can be redeemed for one of Alte Oper Frankfurt's own events during the current season.
Notes on the subscription card
If you have taken out a subscription series (exception: youth subscription) or a selective subscription, you will also benefit from our subscription card: you will receive a 20% discount on events promoted by Alte Oper Frankfurt and on many collaborations.
- With your subscription card, you can book as many discounted seats at the events listed as your subscription includes. For example, if you have a two-seat subscription with your partner, you can add two tickets each for additional concerts. As soon as your subscription card is activated, you will receive an e-mail from us with detailed information on how to use it. Please note that it will take approximately 10 days from the time your subscription is purchased for your subscription card to be activated. Your card is valid for the season for which you have taken out your subscription.
Admission ticket as RMV ticket
Your subscription tickets are also valid as a ticket on all lines of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) for a second-class return journey to the Alte Oper Frankfurt. Outward journey at the earliest five hours before the start of the event, return journey until close of service on the day of the event. The common RMV transport and fare regulations apply.
Get in later
Even if the first concerts of the subscription are already in the past, the subscription can still be booked. In the first half of the subscription, you can still join at a later date and benefit from the subscription advantages.
Changes
The Alte Oper Frankfurt reserves the right to change dates, programs or venues in individual cases for artistic or technical reasons. In the event of date changes, we will provide you with an exchange voucher, valid for one year, free of charge upon request. The equivalent value can be redeemed for all of the Alte Oper Frankfurt's own events, provided that tickets are still available. The tickets of your subscription are transferable, but there is no right of return. Seat change requests for tickets that have already been paid for and printed cannot be considered.
