Get away from it all, dance the tango and let the sun, temperament and passion warm you up: In Buenos Aires, the hometown of tango, people don't need to be told twice and like to indulge in their national dance at lunchtime. You can also feel the pulse of this special South American quality of life in the centre of Frankfurt when the Cuarteto SolTango invites you to a milonga. In this formation, four musicians bring their musical homelands from chamber music, symphony orchestra and the Argentinian tango scene and take the tango to the cradle between concert hall and street café. At the end of the lunchtime escape on this date in the ‘Lunch Concerts’ series, the audience can enjoy a snack together.
Concert duration: approx. 30 minutes
Followed by a snack in the Clara Schumann Foyer (level 2) and in the Hindemith Foyer (level 3) (included in the ticket price)
