DON GIOVANNI – MOZARTS OPER, EINGERICHTET FÜR KINDER

Mozart called his famous opera a dramma giocoso, a comic drama. It goes haywire with disguises and sword fights - because the main character is a real villain! For us, it's all about the funny side of the opera. We want to know how the characters in this work are faring, what they are thinking and feeling, and in doing so get very close to Mozart's wonderful music. But if Mozart's Don Giovanni goes to hell, he won't float away to heaven with us, and then we need children to join in on stage and transport Giovanni to the afterlife as the spirits of hell!
