It's not always this turbulent at the Alte Oper! But when the Children's Day takes place once a season, the halls and foyers are firmly in the hands of the little ones, and there is not only listening, but also laughing, singing, trampling and dancing. The Children's Day is aimed at children aged between zero and ten and their families and is a concentrated demonstration of what our PEGASUS music education programme stands for. In two timeslots, we offer concerts for different age groups, workshops on making instruments, a puzzle rally through the building, rhythm games and much more. Families can put together their own individual programme from various consecutive and parallel activities.
