Hilary Hahn is a superstar! It could be that simple. If it weren't for Hilary Hahn of all people. She has long been recognised as one of the leading violinists of our time, and quite rightly so. She has been performing on the major international concert stages for more than three decades. Her countless awards, including three Grammys, have recently been joined by the prestigious Avery Fisher Prize. But being in the front row, being the celebrated centre of attention at a concert, being a superstar: For Hilary Hahn, this is just a side effect of her life as a musician. It is much more important to her to come into contact with people: on, off, in front of and behind the stage. Wherever people are touched by music together.
