The next trip is to the Alte Oper! The Pegasus programme offers a wide range of activities for nurseries and schools, from intensive workshops to orchestral concerts in the Great Hall.

Daycare centres

In our concert formats for the little ones, the musicians bring the young guests into contact with harmonies, melodies and rhythms and invite them to join in.

1st-4th grade

Primary schools

Classical music and jazz, listening and participating, theatre and concerts: the Alte Oper has a range of attractive offers for primary school classes.

5th-13th grade

Secondary schools

The Alte Oper offers its own concert formats, workshops and opportunities to meet artists for secondary school classes and courses.

We've also thought of the little ones: there are storage facilities for pushchairs on site, as well as changing tables in the foyer on level 1

BOOSTER SEATS
Please understand that booster seats (child seats etc.) may not be taken into the concert hall for safety reasons

YOUNGER OR OLDER SIBLINGS
Our concert programmes are tailored to children of different age groups with different needs In order to ensure the best possible concert experience for all children, we therefore ask for your understanding that we limit the audience to children or young people from the respective age group and their accompanying adults

EATING AND DRINKING DURING THE CONCERT
Adult visitors know that eating and drinking is not usually allowed at classical concerts Out of consideration for the venue and other audience members, we also expect our young audience members not to bring any provisions into the concert hall and consume them there Exception: At the ENTDECKER concerts, parents are welcome to withdraw and breastfeed their children or give them something to drink

CLOAKROOM
Cloakrooms are located in the entrance area on level 1

PHOTOGRAPHER
Photography, video and sound recordings are not permitted during concerts In the event that the Alte Oper Frankfurt records an event or has it recorded, visitors agree that they may be recorded in image and/or word and that these recordings may be published or utilised without any claim to remuneration
Discounts and subscriptions
Special offers for schools
For selected own events, the Alte Oper provides school classes with special contingents of discounted tickets at 10 euros per pupil or per teacher plus shipping costs. You can request information on this by sending an email to pegasus@alteoper.de.

Half price concert tickets
Concertgoers up to the age of 27 who are still in education receive a 50% discount on individual tickets for almost all classical music events at the Alte Oper during regular advance sales.
