Peter Tchaikovsky was a great lover of letter-writing. This is proven not only by the famous epistolary scene from his opera ‘Eugene Onegin’, but also by the more than 5,000 letters from his pen that have survived. In the evening, before Tchaikovsky's famous violin concerto is performed by the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, the Museum of Communication will be tracing the arc from letter communication to the medium of radio, including a lecture by museum curator Dr Tina Kubot.
